High winds batter France, England

France: deux frères retrouvés 11 ans après l'enlèvement

Le père des deux adolescents, âgé de 52 ans, a été arrêté vendredi dans le village de Massat et a été écroué.

L'homme avait été condamné par défaut en 2005 à deux ans de prison pour avoir enlevé en janvier 1998 ses deux fils, alors âgés de 6 et 7 ans, qui vivaient dans le sud-est de la France avec leur mère.

Ils cultivaient des légumes et allaient les vendre sur un marché de la région, selon le procureur.

Les deux adolescents "sont physiquement en forme mais il est difficile de dire comment ils vont vivre une séparation de 11 ans avec leur mère", qu'ils ont revue dimanche pour la première fois, a déclaré le procureur.
